Wait, Firestorm? That’s something never discussed before!
DICE and Electronic Arts revealed a new trailer for Battlefield V, whose open beta will become available tomorrow. This video brought up some information about the game’s battle royale mode which had no name as well. It now got christened – it is going to be called Firestorm, and it will have a 64-player limit. We don’t want to spoil it (as we’ll discuss it separately), but Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII has more players than Battlefield V’s battle royale mode. Another possible disappointment could be the fact that the mode is only available in squads. You cannot play the game alone….
Battlefield V‘s War Stories, its single-player campaign, will have four campaigns at launch: Prologue, Nordlys, Tirailleur, and Under No Flag. The fifth one, called The Last Tiger, will be available after the game’s launch. (So did Electronic Arts cut the game back a bit on this front as well for the sake of live services?)
Battlefield V was recently delayed – its new release date is November 20 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
