A game’s collector edition’s perhaps most important piece will be lacking.
Fallout 76’s Platinum Edition can be bought from Bethesda‘s website among many other pages. This version will cost 115 dollars, and it does have some merchandise in the collector’s case: a concept art print, three 64-page journals (with empty pages), a few postcards, a two-sided poster for your wall, as well as a Prima guide for the game in its collector’s edition in both physical and digital form.
Something seems to be missing here, doesn’t it? The GAME itself isn’t part of the package. Others have pulled a similar move off before (Hitman might have been one such example), but not many developers/publishers dare to make a limited/collector’s edition for a game without including the title itself. You won’t even get a PlayStation Network/Xbox Live/Steam code either!
Fallout 76 will launch on November 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
