THQ Nordic‘s expansion continues – the team, which was known as Nordic Games, not a long ago, bought two more studios…
The Austrian publisher announced in its latest financial earnings report that by the end of the previous fiscal quarter year (at the end of September), they had no less than 55 games in development, and 35 of them are unannounced titles at the moment.
No wonder, especially if the publisher keeps expanding as they have done recently: they now acquired Bugbear Entertainment (Flatout 1-2, Ridge Racer: Unbounded, or Wreckfest, which has been delayed to 2019 on consoles – it’s a decent game on PC), and Coffee Stain (the makers of Goat Simulator).
THQ Nordic‘s major expansion began this year, when in February, they acquired Koch Media (and via that acquisition, Deep Silver), followed by TimeSplitters’ IP in August, then Alone in the Dark, Act of War, and Kingdoms of Amalur in September.
The publisher grows big in front of our eyes…
