Even Fallout 76’s Power Armor Edition doesn’t bring what it initially promised…
This pricey collector’s edition includes things like a wearable Power Armor helmet, and, as it initially seemed, a duffel bag made of canvas. We used the word initially for a good reason – those who coughed up so much money for Bethesda didn’t get disappointed solely due to the game’s sub-par quality. They also found out that their duffel bags are made of nylon!
An album surfaced on Imgur, which recaps a disappointed customer’s experience. Even the looks of the bag looks cheap, and Bethesda‘s response is fuel to the fire, too: one of the customer support members say it was made of nylon due to lack of materials, and another person says „the bag seen in the media was a prototype, and it was too expensive to make,” and that they „aren’t planning on doing anything about it…”
Or do they? Fallout’s Twitter announced that Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition owners are getting something after all. Tie yourself to your chairs because their approach is facepalm-worthy: Bethesda tries to silence those who paid two hundred dollars by giving them Atoms, the game’s currency that could be bought by real money. Five hundred Atoms, worth five dollars. That’s all they get! (For example, the postman skin with the duffel bag costs 700…)

We understand and respect that there is disappointment with the bag in the Power Armor Edition. We are sorry. Please contact Bethesda Support to provide proof of your CE purchase. They will assist in granting your account 500 Atoms.

Ironically 500 Atoms won’t even buy you the Fallout 76 postman skin that actually has a canvas bag (it costs 700) pic.twitter.com/UCN3kXYDmn
