No, we’re not talking about Anthem, but unannounced titles!
Electronic Arts released its latest financial results report, and, in short, the company underperformed in the last fiscal quarter (October-December). In the document, EA confirmed that a new Plants vs. Zombies, as well as a new Need For Speed, is in development! (The latter makes sense: 2013: NFS Rivals, 2015: NFS reboot, 2017: NFS Payback – Ghost Games has a bi-annual schedule.)
We can add Respawn-boss Vince Zampella’s tweet, too: „Tons of things [are] planned for Apex Legends in the future. We are also committed to listening to player feedback. We are also working on more Titanfall for later in the year (yes, I said the T word). We love being able to experiment in this crazy universe!” Effectively, he confirmed that Titanfall 3 might be in the making (although Apex Legends, the free-to-play battle royale title, has possibly evolved out of its concept). Let’s not forget about the unseen Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, either! The financial report still puts this game to launch this autumn. (It means Respawn is now working on three games!? The report also mentions this Titanfall project as a „paid” title with „a twist on the franchise.”)
So Electronic Arts is prepared for this year.
