Ubisoft likes to re-release its older games (although not as much as Capcom has done in the past few years).
Previously, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered was announced as part of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey’s season pass. It’s still the case, but now, we can apply a release day for the re-release package. Package indeed, because Assassin’s Creed III Remastered contains the base game, as well as its Benedict Arnold, Hidden Secrets, and the Tyranny of King Washington expansion (the last one plays with alternate history, putting the founder of the United States on a throne with an iron fist). The pack also contains Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, which first released on the PlayStation Vita.
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will launch on March 29 (obvious reasons: Ubisoft wants to get more money at the end of the current fiscal year which will end on March 31) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The PS4/X1 version will also get a retail version, too. The price is somewhat hefty at 40 dollars. The video below has a comparison between the original and the re-release.
