Prince Harry, who is sixth in line of succession to the British throne, said something about Fortnite that really ticked the people off… and that’s lightly put!

Daily Express reports about what Prince Harry said about Epic Games‘ popular battle royale game: „The game shouldn’t be allowed. Where is the benefit of having it in your household? It’s created to addict, an addiction to keep you in front of a computer for as long as possible. It’s so irresponsible. Parents have got their hands up – they don’t know what to do about it. It’s like waiting for the damage to be done.”

We’re talking about Prince Harry who got sh_tface drunk several times in the 2000s, and in 2005, he wore a swastika in a fancy-dress party, which isn’t the brightest idea, to begin with, let alone for someone who could sit on the British throne! Also, he said this in 2013 about his previous work (firing air-to-surface Apache Hellfire missiles…): „It’s a joy for me because I’m one of those people who love playing PlayStation and Xbox, so with my thumbs, I like to think I’m probably quite useful.”

Oh, but here comes the funny part – the Internet has reacted to Prince Harry. We’ll quote a few Twitter responses: „While everyone else is at the games BAFTAs, I’m at home trying not to explode with rage over the whole Prince Harry Fortnite bullsh_t and the BBC’s unbalanced and disingenuous coverage, which I won’t link to, but oh god”; „Prince Harry, how are you going to speak out against social media and Fortnite and at the same time launch an Instagram account with 3 million followers in one day?” – indeed, he has a shared account with Meghan Markle. But let’s keep going: „Prince Harry is ginger so his opinion doesn’t count.”; „When you come second in Fortnite”; „Maybe it’s good that we’re not a monarchy” (hinting at the fact that it’s not the Queen who directly rules the country); „It’s irresponsible to talk about something when you have little to no knowledge and can’t present a balanced view.”; „Apparently Prince Harry thinks that Fortnite “shouldn’t be allowed.” I guess it’s time for a good old fashioned book burning… I mean disc burning then. On an unrelated note, here’s a photo of Harry dressed as a Nazi.”; „I agree whole-heartedly with Prince Harry. Children should not be playing Fortnite. Instead, they should be outside riding on their ponies, sailing on their father’s yacht, attending the theatre, or learning how to shoot deer and grouse with the groundskeepers.”.
