The cost of video game consoles in the United States drops by 33% compared to June 2018.
The NPD, the North American body that deals with making public the sales data in the United States, has published this morning the results of the month of June. In the sale of video games sends Nintendo, and in hardware sales … too.
In fact, and although as always in these cases do not point to specific data, it is assured that Nintendo Switch is the best-selling video game console of the month of June, and not only said that but also speaks of a “continued decline” of the sales of PS4 and Xbox One.
So the download is general, except for the Nintendo console. Hardware spending in the region, compared to June 2018, is 33% less than at that time and has fallen to 235 million dollars. The cost of accessories or game cards has also dropped to 338 million dollars.
This morning, and in the wake of the widespread decline of consoles, it has been announced a sharp drop in sales of Xbox consoles in the last fiscal quarter.
