Three gameplay videos surfaced – in total, over one hour of gameplay can be seen below to see how much of a facelift did Warcraft III (which will hit the adult age shortly on its own…) get.
The three videos (the first one features the humans fighting the orcs, the second one has humans with pandas fighting two AI, and the third one does a role reversal on the first one with orcs facing off the humans) were uploaded to the Book of Flames YouTube account, and they are recorded from an apparent beta version of Warcraft III: Reforged, all in proper quality (1080p resolution, 60 frames per second), so it doesn’t seem to be a hoax – it seems more than real. This is Blizzard’s next big move in action (and no, we don’t mean the new bans – that will be discussed separately…).
„The founding of Orgrimmar. The fall of Lordaeron. The reign of the Burning Legion. The rise of the Lich King. Veterans and newcomers alike will experience these pivotal events in Azeroth’s history like never before in Warcraft III: Reforged, from the points of view of four distinct factions: the mighty Orcs, the noble Humans, the ancient Night Elves, and the insidious Undead Scourge.
For Warcraft III: Reforged, every character, structure, and environment has been recreated to emphasize the depth, dimension, and personality of this rough-hewn world. The Warcraft III saga, which spans more than 60 campaign missions, enjoys an epic retelling in Reforged, with over four hours of updated in-game cutscenes and rerecorded voice-overs that breathe new life into the earliest renditions of key characters like Sylvanas Windrunner and Arthas Menethil,” Blizzard wrote when Warcraft III: Reforged was announced.
Warcraft III: Reforged should launch this year on PC, and… it should, as the game seems fairly complete going by the three videos. Many players will hop on Battle.net if the game is out – perhaps the company will reveal at BlizzCon when it will happen. (And Blizzard will likely not cancel its event…)
