Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remastered release date isn’t official yet, but it might offer some surprising solutions.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is already getting ratings. It got rated by both PEGI (the European rating board), and the (South) Korean Gaming Rating Board. Infinity Ward’s game’s updated edition has a twist, though – both rating boards mentioned specifically that its single-player is included, not the multiplayer. Sure, the game’s campaign was memorable, but let’s just say that the franchise isn’t popular for its well-written stories but its multiplayer experience.
TheGamingRevolution, who previously had accurate information (and footage) of Call of Duty: Warzone, claims that this is not the case, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered could be released in a complete format, meaning it would contain both the campaign and the multiplayer. The twist here is that the package has been done for some time, so it wouldn’t need much work! (Unless it has a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version, which could happen…)
Allegedly, Activision Blizzard held back its release because there were some mass shootings at the time throughout the world, but now, the publisher considers this game as a bit of backup. It could be released if say, the 2020 Call of Duty is below expectations (it is rumoured to be a Black Ops remake…). And seeing the publisher, we’re not surprised if they will split it the game in half anyway…
Nothing is official of this yet, but since we talked a lot about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered last year, it could be plausible, so take the information with some salt and ask… when will it be announced? Because we all know it is going to happen.
