This visceral cooperative shooter is coming to PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
Did you miss Turok? Well, you’ll have to keep waiting to dispatch prehistoric reptiles from the perspective of a Native American armed to the teeth, but in the meantime, you’re still interested in taking a look at Second Extinction, a new cooperative shooter announced during the last Inside Xbox.
Broadly speaking, Second Extinction offers what that: a world populated by dinosaurs, a large arsenal of weapons to distribute among our friends and a good dose of guts and explosions. Its managers describe it in a somewhat more specific way: “Second Extinction is an intense first-person shooter for three players, where you team up to face large groups of wild mutant dinosaurs. Fight in a storm of bullets, bombs, fangs, claws and blood, it is in your hands to recover the Earth! ”
The game’s action has been briefly seen through the trailer that accompanies the news, which contains several gameplay scenes that advance some mechanics, such as the possibility of sliding down the hills while or even the appearance of larger dinosaurs. However, its release date remains shrouded in mystery. It has been confirmed that it will hit PC, Xbox One, and Xbox X-Series.
