The successful remastering of the Activision classic is the first PS Plus game to come this August.
This last Monday Sony announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered would be its great standard-bearer for PlayStation Plus in August, although it will not have to wait until the turn of the month since the successful production of Infinity Ward is now available for free download on PS4.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered invites players to relive the individual Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign, originally released in 2009 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, fully remastered in high definition, thus allowing Indulge players in classic quests including Maximum Risk, The Gulag, and Whiskey Hotel joining forces with Soap, Price, Ghost, and the rest of Operational Force 141 in the global fight to restore order to the world.
The video game has sold more than four million copies since its launch at the beginning of the year.
The PlayStation Plus releases do not end here, next week the curious Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, a chaotic multiplayer obstacle course game where players will have to face exciting challenges against 99 other competitors, can also be downloaded with the Sony service.
