A live-action promotional video that reviews the features of the new Sony console.
Anyone would say it, but surely, we are less than three months before the premiere of the new generation consoles. And if there is no real sense of closeness, it is because we still do not know the release date or the price of the new consoles, including PlayStation 5. Of course, the advertising campaigns are already underway: PlayStation has just published the first PS5 television ad as a promotional video … but at the moment it is only available in English with Hungarian subtitles.
In fact, shortly after the video was published on the official PlayStation channel for Hungary, the company has made it private, so it must have been leaked ahead of time by mistake, by uploading it to the platform without marking it as hidden. That hasn’t stopped people like Daniel Ahmad from being able to “hunt down” the video and upload it to Twitter before it was removed from YouTube.
Given that PlayStation has quickly put it as hidden, it is most likely that soon it will be officially published in the different regions where the company operates. While this does not have to mean that there will be a major announcement soon, it seems that the promotional machinery of PS5 is fully kicked off once and for all ahead of its launch. And don’t forget that Bloomberg stated earlier this month that we will see a major announcement about PS5 in August.
We will be aware of any news that may occur in the coming dates. In any case, we remind you that a State of Play with PS4 and PS5 games took place recently, and that the console’s website has also been updated with new 360-degree views of its range of accessories. As we wait for some of the companies to finally get wet with the price and date of their products, we leave you with all the announcements from the June PS5 event.
