Mafia: Definitive Edition’s PC System Requirements Reported; No Demo!

It looks like those who use older Windows versions, will not be able to play this game either…

A YouTube user got Mafia: Definitive Edition’s PC system requirements from 2K (=Take-Two). Let’s see how strong of a rig is required to run Lost Heaven’s remake in proper quality and frame rate:

So, let’s see Mafia: Definitive Edition’s PC System Requirements

Minimum system requirements:

Operating system: Windows 10 x64

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8120, or better

Memory: 6 GB RAM

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 or AMD Radeon R9 280, or better

VRAM: 2 GB

Free disk space: 50 GB

Recommended system requirements:

Operating system: Windows 10 x64

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350 4 GHz-en, or better

Memory: 16 GB RAM

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700, or better

VRAM: 4 GB

Free disk space: 50 GB

TripleADigest also said that Mafia: Definitive Edition will not receive a demo. Mafia III had none either, but when the game turned out to be passable at best, Hangar 13 ended up making one anyway, and now, Take-Two is hiding its ass from the negative critique, and they want to see more money out of this, even though they are filthy rich from Grand Theft Auto Online… and this says it all about the publisher’s approach.

Mafia: Definitive Edition was initially planned to launch on August 28, but Hangar 13 (who essentially built the remake on Mafia III’s basics) has delayed it to September 25, when it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC. On the same day, Mafia: Trilogy will also become available. It will also contain the re-release of Mafia III (base game + all DLC), and the initially terrible re-release of the prev-gen title Mafia II (with all DLC), both dubbed as Definitive Edition.
