RICO London is a cooperative indie shooter with cel-shading graphics launches this year and promises a lot of action.
Ground Shatter and Numskull have set a date for the launch of RICO London. The independent action title offers us large doses of the first-person action with an artistic cel-shading section that reminds us to a great extent of the classic XIII. The title is set in the late 90s, has cooperative gameplay and has some traditional mechanics like bullet time.
The story begins with our protagonist, Inspector Redfern, discovering arms trafficking business at the foot of a skyscraper. It was the night of the end of the year in 1999, and he has no reinforcements to prevent the operation. As if it were John McClane, he will have to reach the top of the building, making his way through the different floors and facing hundreds of gangsters.
The game is presented as an explosive cooperative shooter in which we will have options for local and online multiplayer. Some mechanics are based on breaking down doors, dodging bullets, slow motion for our precision shots, and picking up the different weapons that our enemies drop—a classic shooter with a shocking look and direct action.
The shooter will feature different game modes and team customization for the characters, both solo and cooperative. RICO London is the sequel to the first title in the RICO series released in 2019 and developed by Ground Shatter. RICO London is coming September 2 to PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
