The New World Interactive game was delayed on the console several times in 2020.
The road from Insurgency: Sandstorm to consoles has been a long one, but its tortuous development on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will finally end this September. If you don’t remember, the tactical shooter from New World Interactive and Focus Home debuted on PC in 2018, intending to be released on consoles on August 25, 2020. A year later, the game has suffered not one but two different delays on consoles. But this is over now.
As reported by Focus Home in a press release, Insurgency: Sandstorm will debut on PS4 and Xbox One on September 29. A modern tactical shooter proposal focused on a fictional conflict in the Middle East, commanding a squad of elite soldiers. All this, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, coordination and cooperative online play.
