Marvel’s Avengers’ Spider-Man Will Have Its Own Story and Cutscenes

Marvel’s Avengers developer Crystal Dynamics confirmed recently that the long-awaited superhero Spider-Man would have its missions and cutscenes.

Unfortunately, the additional hero will only be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 only, and no PC or Xbox release. However, what was not known was whether the character would just show up one day on the hero selection screen or if there was going to be story cutscenes and campaign missions specifically for Spider-Man.

Today it has been clarified by Crystal Dynamics Dan Matlack on the game’s discord server had the following to say: “Spider-Man is what we call an ‘event’ so he will have cutscenes and a story for sure,”.

He also stated that the raid would have some familiar elements, but it will be an entirely unique experience for players, so a bit of a mix of old and new ideas.

Spider-Man’s character is a PlayStation exclusive character that was announced when the game was fully revealed a couple of years ago. However, the character has been delayed for the past couple of months now to work on bugs and make the player experience even better.

While we do not know the extent of the Spider-Man event, hopefully, it will not just be one cutscene and one mission, but a rather expansive event for players to try out the web-slinging hero.
