It’s three years since the founding of Embark Studios by Patrick Söderlund, a former Electronic Arts senior manager
Embark Studios is celebrating the third anniversary of its founding, which is why its leaders have been kind enough to share two new short videos about the two projects on which the Swedish team, made up of several EA veterans with Patrick Söderlund at the helm, is currently concentrating its efforts.
The first teaser was released last Friday, giving us up to nine seconds of the various locations and wildlife in what appears to be an open-world approach. The clip shows the careful lighting that Embark Studios wants to show off in the production, also showing some buildings. In addition, on Saturday, a night-time image of the project was shared, which seems to reveal a commitment to stealth, although this is all speculation.

The second teaser is from yesterday, and it’s a team-based PvP shooter with an emphasis on dynamism, physicality and destruction, as Embark Studios told us just over a year ago. The video shows the use of various weapons, including a katana. Again, the gameplay is short on the footage, but it’s enough to show vehicle sequences and colourful, detail-rich environments.
Embark is celebrating 3 years! So what have we accomplished? We’ve grown to more than 250 game makers, we’ve got big plans for the future, and a few projects we are just itching to share. To celebrate, we thought we’d share a glimpse of *another* unannounced game in the works. 🎂 pic.twitter.com/TdeZQcuvDs
