Castlevania is 35 years old. It is also a testament that the mid-to-late 1980s saw the launch of many franchises that still have a patina (Mega Man, Castlevania, Street Fighter, Super Mario Bros., and so on). Still, Konami has not even been involved with the series in video game form for years. And the Japanese publisher, with its head in the sand, is celebrating its anniversary in a way it shouldn’t.
So Konami will have a Memorial NFT collection, where you can buy scenes from its games or background music, for example. Castlevania will contribute fourteen items to the collection. Konami will also be publishing new images in this way and hoping to make a lot of money from the auction. We’re not joking; the Japanese publisher is planning an auction, which will start on January 12 at 5 pm Eastern at the OpenSea marketplace.

Therefore, the publisher is planning for the long term, and building on the developments and feedback from the first collection, Konami will continue to explore the blockchain and NFT.
Those who buy NFTs will get a limited-time agreement for NFTs. Konami says the nickname will be listed for the first buyer, but it only lasts from mid-February to December 31, so it’s not a very long period. We’d rather not comment.
