Is Batman Arkham Collection Coming To Nintendo Switch?

Rocksteady Studios ’three games may also pop up on Nintendo Switch, the hybrid platform of the big N that can be called popular.

There’s no shame in admitting it: the Nintendo Switch has been selling nicely, with more than 100 million units already officially sold by the Japanese company, even though it’s still a month until the Switch turns five. So the platform is doing well, even though its performance is limited compared to the PlayStation 4/Xbox One, especially when compared to the PlayStation 5/Xbox Series…

The Batman Arkham Collection might be worth explaining. It came out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2018 and includes three games from Rocksteady, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight (i.e. the collection is not complete: WB Montreal’s Batman: Arkham Origins is left out). This trio could be coming to Nintendo Switch soon if we’re to believe a French distributor, WTT (who have since taken down the listing, but the image captured it…). Before the official announcement, they had previously listed the Switch port of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, so there may be a rationale for Batman’s Nintendo appearance.

The Batman: Arkham series didn’t get close to Nintendo. Only one of the three games has been released on the ill-fated Nintendo Wii U, so the other two titles would be new port work. While 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum and 2011’s Batman: Arkham City aren’t that difficult to port to the Switch (as they were originally made for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, respectively, when looking at consoles), 2015’s Batman: Arkham Knight might be more of a challenge, as it was made for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to WTT, Warner will be asking €60 for the trilogy. Still, the release date is undoubtedly just a provisional placeholder listing, as 31 August doesn’t seem logical, as it falls on a Wednesday, and the last day of the month is often a placeholder date. Therefore, we should think that Batman: Arkham Collection for Nintendo Switch could come in August.

Of course, this is not official yet.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
