MOVIE NEWS – Amazon’s superhero drama, The Boys, parodyed Zack Snyder’s Truth League with a brand new trailer for their in-universe movie, Dawn of the Seven.
The third season of The Boys is imminent, and marketing for Prime Video’s acclaimed superhero drama is already in full swing. The Boys series is based on a series of comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson of the same title and focuses on corrupt, superficial superheroes who often abuse their power. The Boys satirize many common superhero tropics and regularly portray real-world events.
As part of The Boys ’clever promotional strategy, Amazon has also embarked on perhaps the most famous fan campaign. Recently, The Boys team parodyed the Truth League debate, which began with Joss Whedon popping in after Zack Snyder left and re-filming much of the film. Snyder finally released a 4-hour cut of the film in 2021, all thanks to an intricate fan campaign with billboards and flying banners labeled #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.
Vought International is a giant conglomerate in The Boys universe that owns, manufactures and markets superheroes in addition to trading in the pharmaceutical and media industries. The company also has its own Twitter account and YouTube channel with fake trailers, commercials, news shows, etc. In a series of tweets, Vought mocked Snyder’s cutting frenzy with his own # ReleaseTheBourkeCut. to post.

Adam Bourke (P.J. Byrne) is the director of Dawn of the Seven, the seventh film in the Vought Cinematic Universe, starring Homelander and the rest of the Week. The film was rewritten by a guy named Joss after the Stormfront expressed concerns about the female representation in the film. And on June 3, the day of The Boys ’3rd debut, the director can finally realize his vision at The Bourke Cut. You can watch the trailer below.

The one-minute trailer is quite reminiscent of Snyder’s distinctive style, from the substandarded visuals to the music to the logo. Only a few slow motion shots are missing. However, the director of Watchmen is not without humor either, and he reacted kindly. “Congratulations to director Bourke. I’m excited to see his vision come true.” , Snyder tweeted.
Congratulations to Director Bourke. Excited to see your vision realized. https://t.co/iPB3SFRqpa

Prime Video The Boys is an anti-superhero series and the perfect counterpoint to hilarious mainstream comics and TV series. Like the comics, The Boys succumbs to violence, depravity, and the often outrageous actions of those with superpowers. Season 3 of The Boys, however, is said to be the craziest ever, and “will have three times as much blood in it.”
The Boys is developed by Eric Kripke (Supernatural) and stars Karl Urban as the leader of the title self-judging group, who wants to bring justice to the super-able. Other actors in The Boys include Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher and Giancarlo Esposito. The entire cast will return to their roles in Season 3, with new members Laurie Holden as Crimson Countess and Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, the world’s first superhero.
The arrival of Soldier Boy will push the already confused Homelander even further to the brink, and since the Boys themselves will be given 24-hour superpowers, as the trailer shows, Season 3 will be more explosive and chaotic than ever.
