Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr: Sororitas DLC Released – Only for One Platform For Now [VIDEO]

Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr finally introduces the long-awaited “warrior sisters” as a playable class with unique mechanics.

Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr has released its latest DLC, bringing a new class derived from the background of the famous Adeptus Sororitas. Warhammer 40K fans have long hoped to see the “Sisters of Battle” become playable in Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor, and the class brings a collection of new weapons and mechanics to shake up the gameplay.

Neocore Games’ Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr has come quite a long way since its original release, with major updates and DLC content arriving constantly, improving and expanding the game in several ways. Offering Diablo-style action-RPG combat and character development, the game puts players in the bloody boots of the infamous Inquisitors of the Empire of Men, who wield immense power and are entrusted with vast resources, and tasked with investigating heretical and alien activities throughout the Empire. With several unique classes, a wealth of different weapons and a surprisingly deep character-building system, Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor offers a lot of freedom when players get to grips with the content.

The Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr’s Sororitas DLC has deepened the gameplay with an all-new class with unique mechanics, resources and weapons. The Sister of Battle sits between the Crusader and the Assassin as a hybrid class. Although not as tank-like a caste as the Crusader, nor as nimble as the Assassin, the Sister of Battle can be divided into three different subclasses depending on the armour equipped. Her abilities are Acts of Faith, which have passive bonuses when equipped, in addition to the active effects of each ability, and her transformation into a “saint incarnate” gives her access to powerful abilities.

The Sister of Battle’s unique Banner widget allows her to place static banners on the ground, which provide passive benefits to those nearby and immediate effects when activated. Several new weapon and weapon combinations, such as the Hand Flamer and Rod of Faith, Bolt Pistol and Chainsword, and Plasma Pistol and Blessed Blade, emphasize her hybrid nature by providing both melee and ranged capabilities. The Sister has a wealth of lethal methods at her disposal as she fights for the Warhammer 40K Empire. The DLC also comes with an update that fixes a number of bugs and prepares the game for the next round of seasonal content.

Warhammer 40K fans have something to get excited about with the Sororitas DLC, which accompanies the release of Warhammer 40K: Darktide on November 30. Fans can also look forward to the release of Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader for PC sometime in 2023.
