Will The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s Display Not Be Brighter Than Its Predecessor?

TECH NEWS – If true, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max could have a “brighter” future (pardon the pun).

Previously, there were rumors around Samsung’s flagship mobile phone, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, that its display could have a maximum brightness of over 2200 nits. That has probably changed, as a new rumor has the company dumbing it down a bit, so there won’t be a significant change if you just look at the numbers. Ahmad Qwaider wrote on Twitter that the company will have a little trick up its sleeve.

Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s display will have a brightness of 1750 nits. This will be the same as the previous model, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, the company will offer a better experience when viewing the device outside on the street, as you will get brighter, clearer colors in sunlight. It, however, goes against the previous statement, as it would supposedly require the display to have a more robust light output. So, is the Galaxy S23 Ultra capable of more than 1750 nits?

Perhaps the new phone has extra sensors so the display can emit more light in certain conditions to improve visibility. Still, there’s a downside: the phone’s display may have a shorter lifespan, emit more heat and put more strain on the battery. If you can only use it for a few minutes, it might be a logical step, and not everyone would use it all the time on the street to watch videos on YouTube, for example…

The rival product should also be mentioned. Apple claims that the iPhone 14 Pro Max reaches 2000 nits with its display, but it underestimates the results of the tests! According to DisplayMax, the device can reach 2300 nits. Of course, it’s impossible to say for sure until the site gets the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra because until then, we can only speculate what exactly Samsung has done.
