PlayStation Plus Extra members may want to prioritize some titles over others, as 12 games are leaving the service next month.
PlayStation Plus members will soon be unable to play 12 games as they leave the Extra tier collection of titles next month. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers have access to a huge game catalog with hundreds of PS5 and PS4 titles. Users can play these games as long as they are part of the catalog, as members lose access once they leave PS Plus.
Sony updates the collection every month as some games join PS Plus and others leave the service. Subscribers are usually notified of departing games in advance, giving players plenty of time to complete the playthrough. Sony will update each game’s store page with the specific date, and will also include them in a section called “Last Chance to Play”. The list of games leaving PS Plus Extra has now been revealed, and it includes some important titles.
Gamespot reports that 12 games will leave PS Plus in February 2023, with many leaving on February 21st. PS Plus Extra subscribers will lose access to Metro: Exodus, Saints Row: The Third Remastered, Rad Rodgers, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, Pure Farming 2018, Sparkle Unleashed, Agatha Christie – For The ABC Murders, The Turing Test, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, SkyDrift Infinity, Sine Mora EX, and Whispering Willows. Saints Row, Metro Exodus, and Rad Rodgers don’t appear to have a set date for removal, while the others will leave PS Plus on February 21st.

Metro Exodus and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition are perhaps the biggest games on the list, and they’re leaving after being part of PS Plus since August and October, respectively. The date of Vice City’s departure from PS Plus was previously confirmed by PlayStation.
PS Plus Extra lost 10 games in January 2023 as Bound by Flame, The Council, Space Hulk: Tactics and more left the service this month. However, the games leaving PS Plus next month look to be of much greater repute, and it will be interesting to see if they ever return to the service.
