If you love sniper games, now’s the perfect time to pick up one of the best of them. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, released in 2019 for PS4, is now available for just $3.49 on PlayStation Store. That means you’ll pay less than you would for a Double Big Mac sandwich at the McDonald’s!

But why buy this game? Well, if you like World War II environments, stealth and shooting down distant targets, then this is for you. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered is a remastered version of the 2012 game in which you control an American secret agent in the ruins of Berlin. Your goal is to stop the Nazis’ missile program and eliminate enemy leaders.

The game’s biggest attraction is, of course, the sniping itself. You can track the impact of your shots in slow motion as they fly through obstacles and smash into your opponents. The game also shows you in detail the internal injuries of your victims: you can see a bone break or a lung burst, for example. If that’s not brutal enough, you can even choose a mode where every shot is followed by an X-ray.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered isn’t just graphically better than the original: it includes all the DLC (except the one where you have to take on Hitler), as well as new characters and weapons. It also supports 4K resolution and HDR on PS4 Pro and PS5. And if you’re bored of single-player mode or want to play with others online or in local co-op, you can take advantage of that too.
