Bye Sweet Carole: Remothered’s Creator Is Working On A New Game

Little Sewing Machine is working on a new game. Just For Games will publish it.

Chris Darril is behind Remothered. He has now set up a new studio in Italy. It is called Little Sewing Machine. Little Sewing Machine is working on a horror-adventure genre game that will be cross-gen. Considering the announced release date, this is getting a bit ridiculous, as the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One will be 11 years old by 2024, but Little Sewing Machine will still be making Bye Sweet Carole for these two consoles, alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The Switch is not a big surprise either, as Blasphemous II is also coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and Nintendo Switch…

“For his new project, the author of the Remothered horror series has chosen an art direction inspired by the greatest animated films. The stunning visuals support the incredible adventures of protagonist Lana Benton as she tries to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of the mysterious Carole Simmons,” said the press release, which barely provided anything useful, as we haven’t learned much from this blurb if anything.

There’s still room to fill in the time and space, so we’ll digress to Remothered. In 2018, Remothered: Tormented Fathers (developer: Stormind Games, publisher: Darril Arts) was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, followed by a Nintendo Switch port in 2019. In 2020, the sequel Remothered: Broken Porcelain (developer: Stormind Games, publisher: Modus Games/Maximum Games) arrived, and this time all four platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch) received the game at the same time. Chris Darril was behind both games, so that Bye Sweet Carole may take on a similar style…

Bye Sweet Carole will be released sometime in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
