MOVIE NEWS – As the final season approaches, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown shared some of her thoughts on ending the franchise that made her famous.

Stranger Things star Millie Bobbie Brown has opened up about what she thinks about the long-running series, which will end with its upcoming fifth season. His comments came amid delays that currently show no sign of being resolved amicably.

Set in the 1980s and drawn from many sources – including Steven Spielberg, H.P. Strongly influenced by Lovecraft, Cold War-era experiments and conspiracy theories, Stranger Things took Netflix audiences by storm when it chronicled all sorts of strange events through the eyes of a group of children in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The series was a huge hit, becoming the flagship of the streaming service and branching out into other forms of media, including adding a Stranger Things skin pack for Minecraft to the Bedrock Edition store.

After a successful fourth season, preceded by a Stranger Things poster that was better than many movie promos, the show has finally reached its final season. Speaking to Women’s Wear Weekly, series star Brown opened up about her feelings about the upcoming finale and her departure from the set. “I think I’m ready. It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like finishing high school, it’s like senior year,” he explained in a pre-series interview. “You’re ready to go and blossom and bloom and you’re grateful for the time you’ve been given, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”

The sentiment is not new, other actors have echoed similar sentiments. David Harbor has previously spoken about why he feels it’s time for Stranger Things to end. While the timing may be right and the actors are on board with the idea, the end of Stranger Things won’t be an easy goodbye for anyone, fans and cast alike. Even though Harbor recently admitted that he still worries about what will happen after Stranger Things ends. This is not a career concern, as the talented actor has received several solid roles during his time in the series, and a major MCU role awaits him. Instead, he’s more concerned that fans will only recognize him as Hopper, despite his various past and future roles.

Whatever fans and the cast think about the ending of Stranger Things, the season is likely to be a fan favorite, and new interest has been bubbling up ever since the Stranger Things writers teased the Season 5 plot with a blurry photo. We don’t know how well the final season will end one of the most popular series of all time, and how Netflix will continue with the end of its first prolific flagship.
