MOVIE NEWS – Po, the popular bamboo bear, sets out on his adventures for the fourth time, and it’s not easy because he has to transform from a kung-fu fighter to a spiritual leader. One problem is that he cares about spiritual leadership almost as much as he does the paleo diet, i.e. nothing, and the other is that he urgently needs to find a new Dragon Warrior to protect the people of Peace Valley. So Po sets out to find new companions, which is an excellent opportunity for the story to be enriched with new characters. Thanks to this, the Oscar winner Viola Davis and the rapper Awkwafina, who has been featured in more and more films lately, will join Jack Black, who voiced Po in the original version, while the old voices will also return: Dustin Hoffman, Bryan Cranston, Ian McShane and James Hong.

Jack Black is an award-winning comedian-musician (Rocksuli), but his greatest success is as the voice of animated films. Most recently, he voiced the main villain of Super Mario Bros.: The Movie, Bowser, and he also sings the famous song Peaches in the movie, which is the monster’s declaration of love to the princess of his dreams, with the necessary additions. The production brought in $1.36 billion as one of the biggest hits of the year.

The Kung Fu Panda franchise is no small business in the genre of family animation either, the three films so far have generated a total of 1.8 billion, and there are great expectations for the fourth part as well. Another success does not depend on Black, the other day he announced in a personal video message on Instagram that the trailer for Kung Fu Panda 4 has arrived. Viola Davis checked in from her swimming pool and Awkwafina greeted viewers from her car.
