Did Rocksteady Work on a Superman Game or Not?!

Rocksteady studio, known for the Batman Arkham series, never got involved in the development of a Superman game. After the completion of Batman: Arkham Knight, the studio worked on a Batman: Arkham VR project. After that, development began on an unannounced multiplayer game unrelated to the Arkham universe.

According to a Bloomberg report, Rocksteady has never planned a Superman game or worked on such a title, despite popular rumors. After the studio finished work on Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, it began development on Batman: Arkham VR.

After that, the studio reportedly began work on an unannounced multiplayer game that had nothing to do with the Arkham universe. Then, in 2016, the Montreal studio of Warner Bros. cancelled the Suicide Squad game after the project was given to Rocksteady.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is set in the same universe as the Arkham series. In the upcoming game, you’ll play as one of the four DC villains of the Suicide Squad, and as the title suggests, your mission will be to kill the Justice League. Unlike the Arkham series, Suicide Squad is set in Metropolis, which is also the home of Superman. In addition, the late actor Kevin Conroy will also appear as Batman in the game.

The idea of defeating the Justice League, knowing the power they hold as you go to battle against them, is a great idea. But open-world missions where characters shout over the radio for enemies to attack point A or B over and over again doesn’t seem groundbreaking, especially when there are already many live open-world games with similar content.
