TECH NEWS – Although there will be some new features that only affect the most expensive (Ultra) model, the South Korean mobile phone manufacturer is trying to make up for lost time on the camera front.
The update, which is sure to please Samsung Galaxy S24 users who take photos and videos, is called AXB5. The camera capabilities of all three models will be improved. Brighter backlit shots will be one of the new features, resulting in better balance in higher brightness shots. For those who like to take photos or videos of their food, Food Mode Fiesta will allow for more vibrant, detailed photos as colors will be brighter. Darker, nighttime shots are not a bad thing either, with improved saturation and white balance for more natural night shots. You can also explore your images with much higher image quality by zooming in on them in the Expert Raw application (this is covered by an innovation called DNG Gallery Zoom).
And in this paragraph, we’ll only cover the new features that are only available on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Even at higher zooms, text in your shots remains fully legible. Video recording with the rear cameras lets you capture sharper, more detailed footage and always perfect indoor portraits with brighter shadows and more vibrant faces. Capture fast-moving subjects in backlit environments for clearer detail and sharper focus. Bring people and flowers to life with optimized exposure and color.
The AXB5 update is currently available in South Korea and will be rolled out globally soon. This is Samsung’s acknowledgement that people have been having problems with their cameras. When the update arrives, it will allow the South Korean company to address the shortcomings reported by users. Perhaps a slider to adjust the sharpness of the shots on all three models of the Samsung Galaxy S24 would also be a good thing.
The Samsung Galaxy S24’s marketing is based on artificial intelligence, but let’s hope it won’t be what we wrote about in the past: after a year, some AI features may become paid!
