PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium: A Dozen Games to Lrave in June

Sony’s service also rotates the games available, which is fine, but they don’t usually announce which titles are leaving PlayStation Plus along with the update (while direct rival Xbox Game Pass openly lists them twice a month…).

The only way to find out which titles are leaving PlayStation Plus is to visit the Last Chance To Play page on PlayStation Store. Sony highlights this in PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium updates, but we don’t have the guts to list what’s leaving the system. Push Square has rounded up the titles that will be playable until June 18.

PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers can say goodbye to Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PlayStation 4), DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace (PlayStation 4), Dodgeball Academia (PlayStation 4), Grand Theft Auto V (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Indivisible (PlayStation 4), Monster Jam Steel Titans (PlayStation 4), MotoGP 23 (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated (PlayStation 4), The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition (PlayStation 4), The Wild at Heart (PlayStation 4) and Unturned (PlayStation 4). PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also have to say goodbye to Baja: Edge of Control HD (PlayStation 4).

In May, Sony removed more than twenty-five games from the PlayStation Plus catalog for mid- and high-tier subscribers, including seven Final Fantasy games and the Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. We should add that this was developed in-house by Sony, so they didn’t have to pay a penny to have Guerrilla Games’ title on the system. Is it a remake and that’s why they took it out?

So the big one to go is Grand Theft Auto V. GTA VI will be released in the fall of 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
