[SOP 2024] Dynasty Warriors: Origins: 1 vs. 1000, With New Momentum [VIDEO]

Omega Force and Koei Tecmo are making a new Dynasy Warriors episode for current-gen platforms, and that’s why the franchise is ready to take on the battle with a new momentum. It needs it…

Fueled by electrifying 1 vs. 1,000 action, Dynasty Warriors: Origins intensifies the battlefield thanks to massive armies that populate the screen from edge to edge, eager to fight. Throughout the game, players must act quickly as the unprecedented size and scale of enemy armies overwhelm the battlefield. Coordination with allied armies is key as players deploy battle tactics in real time while slicing through waves of soldiers in the most tense battles in Dynasty Warriors history.

In addition, for the first time in a Dynasty Warriors title, the story is told through the eyes of a “Nameless Hero”. Play through the historical tale of war as chaos erupts throughout the Three Kingdoms, showcasing the vast lands of China and its most ruthless generals like never before! Maybe that’s why it’s interesting to see a new twist.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins producer and Omega Force head Tomohiko Sho wrote in the press release, “For nearly 30 years, the Dynasty Warriors franchise has been built not only on a sense of realism on the battlefield, but also on the exhilarating action of 1 vs. 1,000 gameplay. With Dynasty Warriors: Origins, we’re returning to those roots and bringing non-stop action not only to our most loyal fans of the series, but to gamers everywhere, delivering the most exciting warfare we’ve ever been able to create.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a return to what won the public over. Considering that Dynasty Warriors 9 was a disaster in every way (empty open world, for example), it’s understandable that Omega Force is going in this direction. The exact release date for the game is still unknown, as Koei Tecmo has only revealed that it will be released sometime in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
