Several console-specific content is coming to Hogwarts Legacy almost a year and a half after the original release. However, not everyone is satisfied…
When Hogwarts Legacy was initially released in February 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, it was met with critical acclaim. It eventually became the best-selling video game of the year. However, much to the dismay of fans, it didn’t do so well at major events like The Game Awards.
“Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. Embark on a journey through familiar and new locations as you explore and discover magical beasts, customize your character and craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents and become the wizard you want to be,” reads the game’s description.
Whether it’s exploring the fantastical halls of Hogwarts Castle, wandering around Hogsmead Village, or chasing down hellish spiders in the Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts Legacy has plenty of fun for you.
However, no matter how good a game is, there is always room for improvement. The update coming next week will help with this, for example.
On Thursday, June 6th, the new Hogwarts Legacy update will not only bring the “Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest” and various cosmetic items outside the PlayStation platform. It also introduces the Photo Mode so you can share the best pictures of the magical world with your friends on social media.
However, not everyone is happy about it. Some fans are wondering if the game will ever get New Game Plus and new story DLC. The former function has been missing for a long time. And the latter seems like a severe miss.
Hopefully, we’ll get all the other improvements that fans have been asking for in a possible sequel. In the meantime, you can enjoy Hogwarts Legacy on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
