[XGS 2024] Assassin’s Creed Shadows: A Gameplay Preview [VIDEO]

Ubisoft Quebec gives us a glimpse of the gameplay, which will be repeated in a longer broadcast tonight during Ubisoft Forward.

Seamlessly switch between two unlikely allies as you discover their shared destiny. Master complementary play styles, create your Shinobi League, customize your hideout, and usher in a new era for Japan. Explore an immersive open world, from spectacular castle towns and bustling ports to peaceful shrines and war-torn landscapes. Adventure through unpredictable weather, changing seasons, and reactive environments.

Become Naoe, a shinobi assassin, and Yasuke, a legendary samurai, as you experience their compelling stories and master their complementary play styles. As Naoe, use stealth to avoid detection and agility to confuse your enemies. As Yasuke, strike your enemies with deadly precision and power. Unlock new skills, equipment, and progression for each character independently. Make information your weapon as you explore the world, building your own network of spies to be your eyes and ears across locations, hunting down your next target. Along the way, recruit new allies with unique abilities to help you complete your missions. Create a fully customizable lair for your growing Shinobi League as you train your crew, craft new equipment, interact with key characters, and choose your base’s layout, decorations, and accessories.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on November 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC (presumably on the Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store; Denuvo use guaranteed). He will appear again tonight to give a longer gameplay overview, but this time at Ubisoft Forward, so the Xbox Games Showcase was just a small, sneak peek…
