[XGS 2024] S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl: Time for Opportunities [VIDEO]

GSC Game World has put together a new video for Microsoft’s non-E3 broadcast, and of course this time we can hear the characters in Ukrainian (no wonder, since the studio is based in Ukraine).

The trailer, which is entirely in Ukrainian, presents many new details and insights into the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 experience in a way that will be instantly familiar to many players of the franchise. Playing as a lone stalker named Skif, players must navigate a dangerous and enigmatic environment filled with dangerous mutants, dangerous radiation, and treacherous human factions.

Packed with brand-new reveals, this trailer showcases a variety of experiences, from diverse locations to encounters with mutants and arch anomalies. Players will also see hubs where they can rest and prepare for their next intense mission. The in-game footage is interspersed with narrative segments, highlighting the importance of non-linear storytelling in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Aptly titled “The Time of Possibilities,” the trailer reflects the boundless potential within this unforgiving landscape.

Stay tuned for additional announcements throughout the summer as the developers reveal more about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. This trailer marks the beginning of an exciting journey of reveals and updates leading up to launch.

In the meantime, they may even tweak the system requirements, which currently include an Intel Core i5-7600K/AMD Ryzen 5 1600X processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB VRAM)/AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB VRAM) graphics card, 8GB of RAM and 150GB of free space on SSD, and the recommended system requirements are an i7- 9700K/Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, a GTX 1080 Ti (11GB VRAM)/RTX 2070 Super (8GB VRAM)/RX 5700 XT (8GB VRAM) graphics card, and 16GB of RAM.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on September 5th for Xbox Series and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), and will also be available to Game Pass subscribers.
