[UF 2024] Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: The Sky Breaker: Back to the Upper Plains [VIDEO]

A mysterious shadow in the sky hides a very real danger in the first story DLC for Massive Entertainment’s game.

The first story pack for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is called The Sky Breaker. In The Sky Breaker, a mysterious shadow looms in the sky, threatening the Na’vi clans below as they celebrate their Great Festival of Games. To protect the Western Frontier, you must once again face the RDA and save your allies. In The Sky Breaker, you’ll continue the Na’vi journey you began in the main game, this time to the Heart of the Plains, an undiscovered area of the Upper Plains. Here, familiar biomes have blossomed into stunning new variations, while other environments such as the Prism Fields, Feathered Grasslands, Stone Rapids, and more are brand new! While exploring the Heart of the Plains, you’ll encounter a new enemy archetype, the AMP Defender, which protects key facilities with its indestructible shield and top-mounted Gatling gun. You’ll also encounter new RDA Lieutenants in each of the RDA Command Stations, whose AMP suits provide additional firepower and protection.

Finally, you’ll be able to participate in timed challenges during the Festival of Games, level up to Master Crafter with the new Legendary Rarity category, and advance to rank 25 with new ways to spend Skill Points. There is no better time to dive into Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora! Since launch, the team has continued to listen to player feedback and implement as many improvements as possible. Some of the highlights of the latest updates include a 40 FPS Quality Mode on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, Intel XeSS upscaling on PC, adjusted combat difficulty, Motion Aiming with the DualSense controller, and more.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: Sky Breaker will be released on July 16th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Ubisoft Store), and will also be available on Amazon Luna in a month’s time, so the French publisher is still going all out to support the cloud service (but who knows when it will meet a similar fate as Google Stadia). We’ll get it with the Season Pass, as well as Secrets of the Spires, in addition to a bonus mission and cosmetic items.
