[NDD 2024] Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports: Another IP Ruined by GameMill? [VIDEO]

This publisher released one of the worst games of 2023, and it hasn’t released any particularly high-profile titles before.

In fact, if you think about it, TWO terrible IP adaptations are tied to GameMill Entertainment from last year. There’s Skull Island: Rise of Kong, there’s The Walking Dead: Destinies, but there’s also 2020’s G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout, which wasn’t great from them either. There is a much earlier example from 2003 when they released Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. Is this a strong enough list to be wary of anything with GameMill in the name?

Compete against friends and family with the Looney Tunes squad in basketball, soccer, golf, and tennis. Play solo or in four-player local co-op and choose the characters that best suit your play style. Avoid wacky obstacles and earn power-ups to create havoc as you control your favorite Looney Tunes all-stars! Take on the competition in 2v2 arcade basketball, one-on-one or two-on-two arcade tennis, four-player golf, and three-on-three arcade soccer! Choose from nine iconic playable characters, each with their own specialties, including Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Sylvester, Taz, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. Enjoy arcade sports action solo or with up to four players in local co-op. Play in iconic worlds such as Galactic Outpost Delta, Porky’s Barn, Foghorn’s Farm, Road Runner’s Canyon, Whispering Woods, Martian Command Center, Granny’s House and more! Disrupt your opponents in the wackiest ways possible, but watch out for the anvil!

Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports is being developed by Bamtang Games. The game will be released sometime this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. This is another trademark of GameMill: they are still releasing cross-gen titles almost four years after the release of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Hopefully this game won’t be as much of a scandal as Skull Island: Rise of Kong. From the look of the game, it can already be said that it looks terrible…
