Could Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro Really Have a Feud Right Now?!

MOVIE NEWS – Stallone denies feud with De Niro, calls rumours “absurd”, and clarifies they never had a fight and had no intention of working together…

Tulsa King and Rocky star Sylvester Stallone has spoken out about his alleged feud with the legendary Robert De Niro. According to him, this is nothing more than an internet rumour. News of the alleged feud between the two icons started spreading earlier this year thanks to a fake report. The latter claimed that Stallone pulled out of an outrageous “$1 billion project with Robert De Niro” after saying he didn’t work with “woke people.” Stallone leans more to the right in his views (although he has contributed to the DNC and supports gun control).

On the other hand, De Niro used to voice his feelings for the Republican candidate and convicted criminal, Donald Trump, quite vehemently.

Stallone took to his Instagram account to address the rumours, calling them “absurd” while captioning his post: “I never intended to work with De Niro or vice versa,” referring to the fake article circulating on social media. He said he and De Niro never discussed their views or working together again after working together on 1997’s Copland and 2013’s Grudge Match.

“Hello everyone, I just got back from the set of Tulsa King, and I just want to address something that I think is kind of an absurd rumor about myself and Robert De Niro never wanting to work together again and having all sorts of angry comments about our stance on life and our philosophies, whatever. We’ve never had this discussion, and we probably never will, and I just want to say you can’t believe everything you read.”

As for Tulsa King Season 2, it is scheduled to debut in September 2024 on Paramount+. According to Stallone, there is still some work to be done on the production. But he expects it to be finished sooner rather than later. “We’ll be finishing up the series probably in about two weeks, and it’s gonna come out in September, so it’s all good,” he says of the series, which has so far proved successful for the 78-year-old actor. Stallone will next star alongside Jason Patric in the action thriller Armored, which is currently in post-production.
