The Spiders studio’s new game, GreedFall II: The Dying World, launches in early access for PC on September 24. Console versions will follow after the full development is complete, so PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series players can also look forward to it.

The story takes place three years before the events of the first game, putting you in the shoes of a native of Teer Fradee, forcibly taken from your island to the continent of Gacane, where the settlers originate. In this war-torn world, plagued by the Malichor epidemic and political machinations of various factions, you must reclaim your freedom and control of your destiny. Through diplomacy, cunning, combat, and the aid of allies, it is up to you to halt one man’s conquest ambitions that threaten both the continent and your island.

Explore the unique world of GreedFall, travel through new landscapes, and uncover the secrets of these ancient lands. Get to know the factions that control these peoples, and navigate the treacherous waters of their intrigues and conspiracies. Create your character, find allies to join your team, and assist them in their quests. Equip them as you wish and take control of them in battle. Every decision impacts the adventure, and diplomacy, manipulation, infiltration, and combat are all viable paths to achieve your goals.

GreedFall II: The Dying World will be available on Steam in early access, and later on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series when the game reaches version 1.0. The full version is expected in 2025, and it may even arrive on the successor to the Nintendo Switch by then.
