Marvel Rivals: Experience the Epic Marvel Adventure in the Cross-Platform Closed Beta!

Marvel Games and NetEase Games are bringing Marvel Rivals to San Diego Comic-Con, a game that is trying to make a name for itself in an increasingly saturated genre.

In the hero shooter genre, it was Overwatch that survived the long haul, while many other titles have since disappeared (such as Battleborn and LawBreakers), so it will be no easy task for Marvel Rivals, which will feature three character types (Vanguard, Duelist, Strategist).

Characters can also team up to use Team-Up abilities in the game, which is available for closed beta on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Steam on PC. The beta will be cross-platform, so everyone will be able to play together, and if you forgot to sign up via the form or Steam, you can gain access during the Twitch Drop event. This will begin on July 25th at 5pm Pacific and end on July 28th at 5pm Pacific.

All of the content from the Alpha Test will be available in the Marvel Rivals Closed Beta. There will also be a new map, Tokyo 2099: Spider-Island. The game will also be on display at San Diego Comic-Con, and there will be a panel about the story, art style, and voice. The developers may even sign a poster at the event, which will feature an as-yet-unannounced guest.

The Marvel Rivals closed beta will be preceded by a live broadcast. This will begin at 8pm Pacific on July 22nd and will be available on Discord, YouTube and Twitch. The closed beta will run from July 23rd through August 5th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The only question is how long this game will last, as the more products of a similar genre on the market, the more the public’s attention will be divided…

We’ll see how successful it can be in time.
