Diablo IV Season 5: Here’s the Release Date – Coming Sooner Than We Thought?!

It looks like Diablo IV’s next, promising season is closer than you think…

Diablo IV Season 5 is just around the corner, with several quality changes, a new questline, and an exciting new rogue-lite mode, Infernal Hordes.

As you may remember, the game had a great start last year – it also worked out well for us. However, the first three seasons fell short of the expectations of the majority of the audience. But with Season 4: Loot Reborn, Blizzard started to grind out the kinks, thanks to a revamped loot system, new Greater Affixes, and more.

Blizzard looks set to continue this momentum into Season 5, but when exactly is Diablo IV Season 5 coming?

Diablo IV Season 5 begins on August 6, 2024, at the daily reset time of 10:00 AM PDT / 1:00 PM EDT / 7:00 PM CET.

Until now, the game’s seasons enjoyed a three-month cycle. However, Season 5 will be shorter, as Diablo IV Community Lead Adam Fletcher indicated in the recent Camp Fire. If true, it will end on October 8, 2024, when the game’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, will be released.

Interestingly, a new D4 rumour is circulating on Reddit. Season 5 is said to be called “Season of the Infernal Hordes” and will be released on July 18, 2023. Yes, in 2023…

Leaked information aside, July 18 is sure to be an exciting day for fans of the game. Blizzard will reveal more details about the highly anticipated new Spiritborn class, which will arrive with the Vessel of the Hatred expansion pack.

With that said, there is a possibility that Blizzard will bring forward the fifth season of Diablo IV, and the day of the reveal of the Spiritborn class could be an excellent opportunity to do so. In addition, the scope of Season 5 would also be closer to the previous ones. In any case, it will be worth watching the news on Thursday…
