A Legendary Politician will be Heard in Fallout: London! [VIDEO]

You may not be familiar with it, but if you’re from the English-speaking world, it’s worth checking out why it’s so popular…

Fallout 4’s next-gen update has caused quite a stir for the Total Conversion mod. We’ve covered the process in detail (most recently, you won’t be able to purchase Fallout: London through any of the PC stores due to lack of functionality), but Fallout: London is slowly being completed. However, Team Folon, the modding team behind the project, has scored a national success, as project lead Dean “Prilladog” Carter revealed on Discord that a legendary British Speaker of the House of Commons will be heard!

“Imagine being Fallout: London and feeling so lucky to have all the talented voice actors on the team, but then topping it off with the fact that we have [two] Doctor Who actors as VAs… then Neil Newbon messages us and wants a role as well. But the icing on the cake? Who better to represent our mod’s version of the Speaker of the House of Commons than a robot version? Voiced by John Bercow himself,” Prilladog wrote.

Bercow became popular online between 2009 and 2019, especially during the Brexit years. The Speaker often shouted “ORDER!!!”, which often ended the noisy debates. We have embedded a video of Bercow’s best moments. If this is the style of his post-apocalyptic London self, he’ll be “ORDERing” the members of the House of Commons here too…

Prilladog confirmed that no artificial intelligence was used for the voices (he showed some examples on Discord). Despite Bercow’s correct vocal cords, this is the first time he has been involved in voice acting. The other people sure to appear in Fallout: London: Neil Newbon (Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3) and two former Doctor Whos: Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker.

Hopefully, it won’t be long before he arrives.
