PlayStation Is Once Again Giving Users Some ‘Free’ Credits – Here’s What You Need to Do!

PlayStation has announced that you can claim free store credit on certain game purchases until July 31st.

You have the opportunity to get yourself some “free” PlayStation Credit, but you need to act fast! Okay, not Sonic-fast, but at least fast enough to claim it before July 31st.

Lately, PlayStation has been quite generous with its users. While the latest free games on PlayStation Plus aren’t for everyone, other benefits exist.

One such advantage is a “perfect” day-one arrival on the subscription service (Dave the Diver) and an underrated 2023 RPG that many are happy to see available (Remnant 2). These two examples and many more are more than enough to keep fans hooked, but why stop there? Now is your chance to earn some extra store credit.

Best of all, you don’t need to be a PS Plus member to claim it.

Only 50 credit points are available, which is not very many, but as Tesco would say, every little helps…

To unlock the points, all you have to do is buy any of the following games, as detailed on the PlayStation Stars page:

  • Elden Ring
  • Slime Rancher 2
  • Umbraclaw
  • Monster Hunter Stories
  • Grounded
  • Until then

I’m glad to see these games are at least worth the price. All of them have received excellent reviews, as shown on their Steam pages: none have a score below 9/10.

The Elden Ring seems to be the most popular choice since the recent release of the brutal DLC Shadow of the Erdtree.

However, we suspect that some of you will succumb to the adorable charms of Slime Rancher 2. Even more so after Shadow of the Erdtree’s bosses are so tough that you’ll turn grey by the time you kill them.

So, if you buy any of the titles mentioned above, you will also receive the points. As already mentioned, you have until July 31st, so if you are interested in any of the games or the credits, hit them up now!
