Three Exciting Titles Join PlayStation’s Chinese Expansion! [VIDEO]

The PlayStation China Hero Project has been expanding at a rapid pace, and these three titles will be playable at ChinaJoy 2024, which runs from July 26 to 29 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai.

Let’s start with Unending Dawn from Parcae’s Fate Studio. It’s an open-world action game being developed for PlayStation 5 and iOS/Android as part of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s PlayStation China Hero Project, an incubator program in China. From the deep darkness beyond reality, intangible beings emerge and strange colors crawl across the sky, filling the land with malice and taboo. Civilizations built on layers of history, beliefs woven from lies, all that mortals take pride in, crumble into ruins on the day of the “Endless Dawn”. Yet some tread the path of knowledge beyond the reach of ordinary folk, bearing the curse of color that will ultimately destroy them, guarding the hope that sustains the world’s existence. Color is both the source of danger and the genesis of hope. What is your choice – the red of war, the blue of eternity, or the gold of destiny? Hope remains, and the flame of faith burns forever.

The second game to join is an action RPG, Project: Jinyiwei, which is being developed by CangMo Game Entertainment’s Liyou team. It is in development for PlayStation 5 only. It tells the story of a grassroots protagonist in the late Ming Dynasty who becomes involved in a conspiracy of intrigue following major events in the era. With the help of various forces and his own growth, he gradually grows from a self-protecting warrior to a responsible knight. Players will experience cultivation elements close to the concept of martial arts, as well as a unique style and smooth gameplay focused on exciting battles where you counter one move with another, an immersive story and interactive experience.

Finally, Loulan from ChillyRoom has joined the project, and this single-player action-adventure title is also being developed exclusively for PlayStation 5. Players will assume the role of a guard and use their unique abilities to explore and solve puzzles, experience realistic cold weapon combat, defeat powerful enemies, and fight against their own destiny.

We’re curious to see how much attention they end up getting from Western gamers, as they could offer a unique flavor compared to what’s been done before.
