Exciting Rumor: Crash Bandicoot Launch Date on Xbox Game Pass Unveiled!

Microsoft’s subscription service could be adding another major game soon, and since the last rumor about it was partially true, it’s probably not just a rumor.

What was the previous rumor? It was that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III would be coming to Xbox Game Pass on July 24th. That has happened, but not yet that the console version of Valorant will be coming on July 26, which will also be available to subscribers. Those two games were written by a Spanish insider, eXtas1s, editor of eXputer, and now he’s named another game that he says will make its way to the Redmond tech giant’s subscription system within weeks.

He now claims that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will become part of the Xbox Game Pass on August 8th. Back in June, we heard from eXtasis that Crash would be coming in August. He also said that two other Activision titles, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 and Spyro Reignited Trilogy, would be coming to Game Pass “very soon”. But this makes it official that Activision games will now appear alongside Blizzard in the service’s library, something that has been expected since Microsoft closed the nearly $69 billion deal to acquire Activision Blizzard King last October.

Diablo IV was the first Blizzard title in the Xbox Game Pass catalog after it joined the system in late March, and in May, Microsoft announced that the first new Call of Duty episode available to subscribers at launch would be Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Of course, it’s not for everyone, because after Microsoft raised the price, not all subscription tiers will have access to the latest games (which is why Microsoft is steering everyone towards the Ultimate tier).

It’s not official yet that Crash is coming to Game Pass!
