The first trailer for SkyShowtime’s long-awaited self-produced series The Day of the Jackal, starring Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch, has been released

MOVIE NEWS – SkyShowtime has released the first trailer and footage for the upcoming 10-part series starring Eddie Redmayne, Lashana Lynch and Úrsula Corberó, giving a glimpse into the highly anticipated modern series adaptation . SkyShowtime’s self-produced series The Day of the Jackal will arrive on the streaming service’s offer on December 6.

 

A professional, invisible and lonely assassin, the Jackal (Eddie Redmayne) earns his living by carrying out assassinations for the highest reward. But after his latest murder, he meets a man in the person of a determined British intelligence agent (Lashana Lynch), who launches an exciting cat-and-mouse chase against him that covers the whole of Europe, leaving behind a huge destruction.

The series also features Úrsula Corberó (The Big Money Robbery) as Nuria, who is one of the central figures in the Jackal’s private life, without knowing who she really is. The series also stars Charles Dance (Game of Thrones, The King’s Man, Rabbit Hole) as Timothy Winthrop, Richard Dormer (Blue Lights, Fortitude, Game of Thrones) as Norman, Chukwudi Iwuji (Guardians of the Galaxy: Part 3, The Split) , who plays Osita Halcrow, Lia Williams (The Capture, The Crown) as Isabel Kirby, Khalid Abdalla (The Crown, Paper Kites) as Ulle Dag Charles, Eleanor Matsuura (The Walking Dead, Once I Was Famous) as Zina Jansone, Jonjo O’Neill (Andor, Bad Sisters) as Edward Carver, Nick Blood (Slow Horses) as Vince, Sule Rimi (Classified, Andor) as Paul Pullman and Florisa Kamara (Eastenders) as Jasmin Pullman.</ p>
SkyShowtime’s self-produced series The Day of the Jackal will be available exclusively on the streaming service from December 6.
