Adult Film Star’s Sarcastic Dig at The Acolyte Leaves Disney in Shock!

MOVIE NEWS – The Star Wars series The Acolyte is so weak that even an adult film star, Mia Malkova, publicly criticized it. This new series premiered on the Disney+ platform, but it immediately sparked outrage among fans. The vast gap between the viewers’ expectations and reality has left many disappointed.

Disney is currently facing serious problems: while they struggle to revive the MCU, the Star Wars franchise is also in crisis. Their latest productions fail to meet fans’ expectations, causing growing dissatisfaction. The latest controversy revolves around The Acolyte series, which, despite receiving an 80% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, has a disastrous audience score: the first season currently stands at just 17% in user ratings, and the situation is no better on Metacritic, where it scored only 3.9 points.

When Disney purchased the Star Wars rights in 2012, there was huge anticipation among fans for the continuation of the story. However, in recent years, the studio has failed to create lasting impressions, and fans are increasingly discontent. The situation with The Acolyte worsened further as the series could not meet expectations.

The Acolyte is arguably the worst Star Wars series introduced on Disney+ since the platform launched in 2019. While it didn’t destroy the storyline as much as the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, where many believe the titular character should never have re-engaged with Darth Vader, the subpar writing and acting have left viewers dissatisfied.

Of course, everyone has their own opinion about the new series and the Disney-managed Star Wars franchise, but the overall picture is not very positive. To make matters worse, famous adult film star Mia Malkova also weighed in on the debate surrounding The Acolyte. In an X post, she wrote: “I finally watched The Acolyte, and I think I can officially say I’ve been in better-written Star Wars movies.”
