Thanks to Samsung’s eighth-generation V-NAND (V8) technology, the PRO Plus and EVO Plus boast enhanced performance and large storage capacity. This makes Samsung’s new microSD cards ideal choices for content creators and tech enthusiasts who need fast data transfer and reliable storage on their devices for everyday use.

Increased Storage Capacity

The PRO Plus and EVO Plus provide storage capacities similar to SSD devices, offering up to 1TB. With 1TB of memory, users can store over 400,000 4K UHD (2.3MB) photos or more than 50 console games (20GB each). The increased capacity of the PRO Plus and EVO Plus opens new possibilities for the everyday use of portable devices like smartphones, action cameras, drones, and handheld gaming consoles. The PRO Plus and EVO Plus are available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities, with the EVO Plus also offering a 64GB option.

Enhanced Performance

For users storing large amounts of high-quality content, the exceptional performance of the PRO Plus ensures a smooth creative workflow. It promises exceptional efficiency and reliability with storage options ranging from 128GB to 1TB, offering up to 180MB/s sequential read speeds paired with up to 130MB/s sequential write speeds. The PRO Plus supports fast loading and multitasking with UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and Video Speed Class 30 (V30) speed classes for 4K UHD video playback and features A2 application performance, allowing users to focus on creating rather than worrying about storage and organization.

The EVO Plus enhances everyday data storage with transfer speeds of up to 160MB/s. It also boasts UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and Video Speed Class 30 (V30) speed classes for 4K UHD video playback and A2 application performance, providing users with seamless loading and multitasking experiences. The 64GB EVO Plus model has different specifications: UHS Speed Class 1 (U1), Video Speed Class 10 (V10), and A1 application performance.

Enhanced Energy Efficiency and Reliability with 28nm Controller

The Samsung PRO Plus and EVO Plus 1TB microSD cards feature controllers based on 28-nanometer (nm) processing technology, providing more efficient energy use compared to the company’s previous 55nm models. This enables users to maximize their device battery life with Samsung’s 1TB cards.

For long-term secure data storage, the PRO Plus and EVO Plus 1TB cards offer enhanced durability for more write and erase cycles. This is thanks to the Error Correction Code (ECC) and Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) 2-kilobyte (KB) engine.

Proven Durability for Reliable Storage

The highly durable PRO Plus and EVO Plus cards have undergone extensive testing and achieved high reliability ratings in six areas. The PRO Plus and EVO Plus cards are designed to withstand challenging environments, including water, high temperatures, X-rays, and magnetic fields. For creators venturing into challenging conditions, the PRO Plus and EVO Plus have demonstrated drop resistance and wear resistance in comprehensive tests.

Compatibility with Various Devices

The PRO Plus and EVO Plus are compatible with a wide range of everyday devices, ensuring secure data storage, including AndroidTM smartphones, tablets, and handheld gaming consoles. They are also compatible with action cameras and drones for creating, editing, and saving content and data under more demanding conditions.
The 1TB models of the PRO Plus and EVO Plus microSD cards will be available in Hungary from August 2024. The 1TB PRO Plus is priced at HUF 67,990, and the PRO Plus with a reader is available for HUF 70,990. The 1TB EVO Plus model is available for HUF 62,990.

The PRO Plus and EVO Plus come with a 10-year limited warranty.
