All three PlayStation Plus subscription levels will have these games available in a few days, but it’s questionable whether this list will catch the public’s attention.
Unfortunately, we can’t rely on billbil-kun at the moment, as he used to frequently announce what games were coming to subscribers via Dealabs and Twitter. No such luck this time, so we had to wait until the Wednesday before the first Tuesday of the month (which wasn’t the first of the month this time) to see Sony release a list at 5:30pm EDT showing which titles PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will be able to add to their game libraries for as long as their subscriptions remain active.
The first title is Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4). The second is Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Beach (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4). The third is Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights (PlayStation 4, but also playable on PlayStation 5 with retroactive support). The games will be available from 6 August to 2 September.
If you didn’t see what you were looking for, there are still a few days left to catch up on the July offer. As a reminder, the games in question are Borderlands 3 (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), NHL 24 (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), and Among Us (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), and the third of these is the one that Sony was rightly criticized by the public for being a bargain on PlayStation Network and THIS was given away for free to subscribers. On top of that, Genshin Impact has had a PlayStation Plus pack since July 16th (160 Primogem, 4 Fragile Resin, 20 Hero’s Wit, 30 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 150,000 Mora).
Is Sony planning a bigger list for September? With rumors that the company is planning a PlayStation Showcase around then, where the PlayStation 5 Pro could be announced, maybe.
