Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed: Enhancing Mickey Mouse’s Charm [VIDEO]

THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp Studios’ masterful remake was on display at the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2024.

Alongside Wreckfest 2, Titan Quest II, Gothic Remake and the new Darksiders, this game was on the THQ Nordic showcase and, as always, it did not disappoint. Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed brings the magic of Disney to life in a vibrant 3D platformer. This gorgeous remake sends Mickey Mouse on an epic journey through the Wasteland, a realm of forgotten Disney characters.

As Mickey, you plunge into a fantastical world and, armed with paint and thinner, shape your adventure and the fate of this alternate world. Every stroke of your magic brush matters! Use paint to restore beauty and harmony, or use thinner to alter your environment and uncover hidden secrets. Your choices affect Mickey’s fate and change the outcome of this artistic odyssey.

Meet various iconic characters such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first creation, as you travel between lands in Wasteland. Collect virtual Disney pins, complete creative challenges and uncover secrets as you explore classic platforming levels inspired by animated films and shorts. Originally conceived by Warren Spector and reimagined by Purple Lamp, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed uses state-of-the-art visuals and improved controls to breathe new life into a beloved classic. Experience new movement abilities for Mickey such as dashing, ground pounding and sprinting. The game’s compelling story makes it an unforgettable adventure for longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed launches on September 24th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. So all platforms will have Purple Lamp Studios’ game, and since the original was such a great experience, at least now a much larger audience will get to experience what Mickey Mouse paints like…
